Sub: Together WE stand with our Indian Government for this preventive decision - Banning E-cigarettes for protecting our future generation.

Respected Sir/ Madam,

We would like to thank and place on record the Government ban on e-cigarettes in India. As we know, children are the pillars of our nation and this rightful decision will prevent children falling a prey to e-cigarettes.

Battery operated devices such as electronic cigarettes, vape pens, and juuls containing nicotine are often marketed as safe alternatives for smoking in sleek designs and attractive flavors, but the truth is that they are as harmful as cigarettes. Nicotine exposure during adolescence can cause addiction and affect brain development. E-cigarette users are prone to irreversible lung damage, lung and cardio vascular diseases and several other mental health problems. It is also worth noting that many countries have been witnessing plenty of vape explosions.

Mention must be made that on 18 September 2019, the Indian Government announced a ban on the production, distribution, storage, sale, export/ import and advertisement of e-cigarettes which will save countless number of children from falling a prey to e-cigarettes. We would like to appreciate and stand together with the Indian Government for the laudable gesture of banning E.N.D.S. We look forward to your support in banning all forms of Tobacco products thereby making mother India “Tobacco Free”.
